Create a Webinar: Presentation from Media File Only

Create a Webinar: Presentation from Media File Only

A presentation from a media file is an automated webinar using a pre-recorded MP4 video file as your webinar source. Depending on your webinar license, we suggest a file no larger than 5GB. The suggested video format is 8mbps at 720p.

When creating or copying a webinar, populate the "Create webinar from a pre-recorded video" on your General Settings page. A webinar created using a pre-recorded video consists of an uploaded video as the only content and can only be scheduled as Pre-Recorded Live or On-Demand.

Note. If you do not see this option please contact support at support@webinar.net.

Navigate to Interface Builder and remove Presentation Component.

Then rename the Media Player Component to "Presentation".

Use the 16:9 guide to size the Presentation window within Arrange.

After clicking [Create] the next menu option is Media File, where you upload your pre-recorded video for your presentation. To ensure maximum reliability, we recommend you to use optimize your MP4 file and make sure that it's not very heavy. This is to ensure that attendees with a bad connection might still be able to download the stream to watch the video.

How to compress various video files and reduce video file size?

Supported videos formats: .mp4, .mov, .wmv, .avi, or .flv.

Once the formatted video file has been uploaded successfully and your Audience Interface is built, you are all set. Once the Pre-Recorded Live webinar starts, there will be a visual countdown in the upper right-hand corner of the Present Console. Presenters can see how much time they have left before the end of the Pre-Recorded Live webinar.

All media files must include audio.
