Component Configuration: Presentation

The presentation content is pushed to the audience during the webinar via the Presentation Component. This component displays polls, surveys, videos, and slides.

Within Interface Builder, the Presentation component will be automatically added to all webinars.

Note. To account for the window's header, the value displayed in the Height field is (Height+35) pixels.

Aspect Ratio

The recommended aspect ratio for Microsoft PowerPoint presentation (.PPT, .PPTX) is 4:3 or 16:9 (component default setting) depending on whether you are using a standard or widescreen monitor.

Note that PowerPoint files set for 4:3 ratio will have bars shown to the left and right of the slide in widescreen monitors.

To change the size of your slides:

1. Select the Design tab of the toolbar ribbon.
2. Select Slide Size near the far right end of the toolbar.
3. Select Standard (4:3 aspect ratio) or Widescreen (16:9) or Custom Slide Size.

For custom slide size select the radio button Custom and insert your Width and Height.

How to Find or Change Powerpoint Size

On the Design tab of the Ribbon, locate Slide Size in the Customize group, near the far right end of the toolbar. Select Slide Size, and then click Page Setup. The Page Setup dialog box opens. In the Width and Height boxes, PowerPoint accepts measurements in inches, centimeters, or pixels.
