Can I change the background image for my webinar?

There are three background types you can have for your webinar.

In the Audience Interface Builder, select General Settings

You can choose from the following three types:

  • Image: Use a single image that you can upload to your personal library or choose from the public library.
  • Single Color: Use the color selector to choose a single color background.
  • Gradient: Use the two color selector to generate a range of position-dependent colors.

Select Image for a single image background.

Select Upload to upload an image from your computer.

  • Recommended size: 1920x1080 pixels
  • Supported format: .jpg, .jpeg, and .png

When you upload an image here, it will only be available for the webinar you are configuring. It will not be saved for future use. To upload an image to your library, select the Library icon on the left.

Select Add Background to upload a background to your library.

Enter the appropriate information on the Add Background page.

Enter a unique name for your background in the Name field.

Select Browse to upload from your local computer.

  • Recommended size: 1680x1280 pixels.
  • Supported format: .jpg, .jpeg, and .png.

Once uploaded, you will see a preview of the background.

Select Add

This background will be your default background but also saved to your Library. To find a background from your library, select My Backgrounds

Type: Single Color Background

For a single color background, select Single Color

A color selector will appear. Select the color for your background.

Type: Gradient Background

To have two colors for your background, select Gradient

Select your two colors, using Color 1 and Color 2 fields. A color selector will appear. These two colors will generate a gradient background.

From the drop-down menu, select which direction you want to set the gradient color. Gradient colors can be Horizontal, Vertical, Diagonal Left, and Diagonal Right.

See the example below.

Color 1 is selected as a blue shade and Color 2 is selected as a green shade. The direction is set as Vertical.

In this example, the two shades are the same but the direction is set as Horizontal.
